Since the evolution of life, there seems to be a tendency for individuals to organize together, from cells, bacteria, bees, and herds of cows. What seems like a natural phenomenon in animals is deeply connected to our social lives as our understanding of group phenomena deepens. Much evidence shows that synchronization during collective rituals in the rhythms of music, movement, and dance evoke emotions and motivations such as belonging, empathy, and connection and create group solidarity with effective cooperation even among strangers. Some researchers see religion and rituals as the axis around which the social system is tied to a kind of super-organism: a collection of individuals that behave as an organism in itself.

We will get to know the "hive hypothesis" that explains how we can move in special group situations from a sense of individual self to a state of extended self
